The menu

Burgers, fish, and the sauce board.

One flat-top, a fryer, and a sauce list longer than most places twice the size.

The Grizzly Burger

The one with our name on it. Fresh-ground beef smashed on the flat-top, stacked, and worth the napkins.

Our namesake
Two pieces of beer-battered cod in a basket with fries, tartar sauce and a lemon wedge

Fish n Chips

Beer-battered and fried to order. Our single most-ordered plate, in a burger place.

Rotating Specials

California burritos, tortas, fish tacos — they come and go off the specials board. Worth asking what is on today.

Feeding a crowd?

The truck does weddings, conventions and whole weekends.

Prices aren't printed here — they move, and a wrong number is worse than none. Call (360) 537-9840 and we'll tell you exactly what today costs.

Made in this kitchen

The sauces are the whole thing.

People ask about them constantly, so here they are. Every one is made here — not opened out of a jug and poured into a squeeze bottle.

In the harbour

Small town, and we act like it.

Food bank takeovers — the first small business in the harbour to do one. Veterans eat free on Veterans Day, every year. If something is happening in Hoquiam, there is a decent chance we are feeding it.

Locals and the same holidaymakers who have been coming back for forty years, which is most of the point.

Questions

The things people ask.

What should I order the first time?

The fish, the Grizzly Burger, or the jalapeño burger — in that order, going by what people actually come in for. Whichever you pick, get a sauce with it.

Are the sauces really made in house?

Yes, all of them. Fry sauce, ranch and honey mustard are the three we go through the most, and the list on the board is longer than that.

What are your hours?

Monday to Thursday 10am–9pm, Friday and Saturday 10am–9:30pm, and Sunday 11am–9pm.

Do you do catering?

Yes — that's the food truck, and it is a business of its own. Weddings, convention centres, family gatherings and multi-day community events. It books up far ahead, so ask early.

Do you deliver on DoorDash or Uber Eats?

No. We looked at it and the cut did not work for a place this size, so it is counter service and takeout. Call ahead and it will be ready when you get here.

Where are you?

300 W Emerson Ave, Hoquiam, Washington 98550 — in Grays Harbor, a short run from Aberdeen and on the way out to the coast.
